For my self portrait, I tried to focus mainly on the proportions and shading. I tried to follow everything, like making sure that my head was 5 eyes wide, and my nose was 1.5 (in proportion of how my nose really is). I feel like overall I got the proportions right, except for the hair, because I think that it looks to wide on the left side. Also, I think I should have made the face just a little thinner so that it looked more realistic, and more proportionate to my body. However, I feel like I did a pretty good job for the shading, and getting everything light that needed to be light, or dark that needed to be dark. I like overall how it turned out, however there are a few things I wish I could change. I feel that the portrait does not resemble me in the way that I wanted it too, but overall I am happy with how my first self portrait turned out.
