Line Quality Drawing
For my line quality drawing, I had the paper at a vertical orientation as well, because I felt that this best fit the whole composition of my drawing. I think I did a good job on the composition of this drawing overall, because everything looks pretty centered, and the vase is not set too high. I feel that I did a good job on getting a full range of value, however I probably could have added a few more darker spots. I tried to get a variety of lines in my drawings, and I think that I was effectively able to use all four of the basic types of lines: thick, thin, light, and dark. Finally I think that my drawing establishes clear light sources (the overhead lights) and uses Da Vinci's six parts of light well. The only one I don't think I was able to get much of was the shadow, because the string was all around.
